Bee Kind - Meet the Team
Hannah Rose Burdett
Games Designer
Hannah is the designer & producer for Bee Kind. She has a background in creative writing, but decided to make the change to games due to her love of interactive stories. Her passion is finding innovative ways to tell stories, and looking for ways that games can provide more than purely entertainment. She hopes to work on commissions for museums in the future.
Alyssa Mello
Commentary Writer
Alyssa has a background in film and is currently pursuing a MA in Directing and Producing for Science and Natural History at the National Film and Television School. She has a passion for nature and conservation and looks forward to discovering the new storytelling possibilities offered by games.
Marisa Cornford
Composer
Marisa is a pianist and composer, who specialises in composing for a diverse range of media including music for games, animation, art installations and film. Marisa studied at Chetham’s School of Music, Edinburgh University, Mannes College of Music NYC, and the National Film and TV School. She has composed for theatre including works performed at The Globe Theatre, London and she regularly plays live to silent film, using her original scores. Marisa is a professor of piano at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
Harry J.N. Parsons
Sound Designer
Harry is an accomplished sound designer and audio engineer. He has worked on television, film and games and has worked for organisations such as the BBC.
Hannah Cole
Production Manager
Hannah graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Film Production from University for the Creative Arts, Surrey. From the success of her graduation project ‘Spilt Milk’ she was commission by Screen South Random Acts to make a spoken word film titled ‘Me, the Elephant’.
Hannah was able to continue her studies on the Production Management course at the National Film & Television School after receiving a BAFTA Prince William Scholarship. In between her studies she works as a freelance Location Marshall in television and features including titles such as Black Mirror, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom & Christopher Robin.
Joseph Phillips
Production Co-ordinator
Joseph is currently studying production management at the National Film & Television School. He has been passionate about video games and film-making all of his life. His background is mainly around film production, where he has made many of his own short films.
Peter Coulthard
Production Designer
Peter is a production designer with a passion for games. He worked on an NFTS grad game before he was even a student here, and is delighted to be working with Hannah on the design of the bee and the garden.
Christopher King
Graphics & Titles
Chris is responsible for the graphics in Bee Kind, including our adorable bee logo. Chris has experience across many industries, including television film and games. He is currently studying a diploma in graphics and titles at the NFTS.
